Mike’s Love Letter to Mom

Dear Mom,

I hope you have a great Valentine’s Day.  I hope you like the flowers we send you because you deserve so much love!

I have so many Valentine’s memories with you.  It was always so much fun when I was in Elementary School and you would send Valentine’s cookies for the entire class!

In 5th grade you helped me buy a special Valentine’s present for the girl I liked.  It was so silly but you treated me like a big boy and let me act like it was so special.

I’ll never forget being the emcee at our high school Valentine’s coronation when I was a junior.  All dressed up and talking on stage in front of the whole school.  I was sooooo nervous but you were there beaming with pride.  That was my first big step to try to overcome shyness to I could be on TV some day as a sportscaster.  And it worked!!!!  Thanks for always being my number one fan.

Love is patient and love is kind. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.

And I will always love you, Mom.
