Hands holding a heart

DROP-IN SUPPORT GROUPS

When you’re caring for and helping your aging parent, your emotions can be like a pendulum. You may feel overwhelmed, loving, confused, grateful, frustrated, sad, angry, guilty or many other emotions on any given day. Maybe any given hour.

These emotions can come from seeing your parent’s  health challenges, a stubborn parent, difficulty juggling your many responsibilities, a long phone call with Mom’s insurance company, trying to convince Dad he needs a will or watching your parent not be able to do the things they used to.

It can be easy to feel like you don’t have anyone to talk to. Like no one understands what you’re going through.

This is where a Support Group can be a lifeline. Giving you a place to share, vent, listen… just be.
There’s no long term commitment. Come when you need it.
